Getting clean is the beginning. Building a fulfilling and sustainable life requires continued support, direction, opportunity, and community. The Kasmar Foundation’s mission is to help people recovering from addiction build healthier, more independent lives. We are raising funds to establish a recovery center and recovery residences that bring essential resources together in one supportive environment.

The Gap We’re Working to Close
Treatment Ends. The Need for Support Does Not.
Many detoxification and treatment facilities have closed, while addiction continues to affect individuals, families, and entire communities. People often leave treatment motivated to change but without the stable housing, support system, practical guidance, and opportunities necessary to build a different life. The Kasmar Foundation was created to help close that gap.

The Founder’s Story
Meet Our Founder: Michael Kirt Kasmar
Michael Kirt Kasmar began his own recovery journey on August 26, 1994. His decades of continuous recovery have given him firsthand insight into both the challenges of addiction and the possibilities created by sustained recovery, purpose, and community. Michael is the founder of Autograph Pros, a business he has operated for more than 20 years, and an Amazon bestselling author on autograph collecting. He created the Kasmar Foundation after recognizing that addiction has continued to worsen while the detoxification center that helped him—and many other treatment facilities—no longer exists.

Supporting Individuals, Families, and Communities
The Kasmar Foundation also intends to collaborate with aligned nonprofit organizations, including the nonprofit established by Michael’s wife to support women experiencing mental-health challenges, abuse, and other difficult circumstances. Together, these organizations hope to connect more individuals and families with compassionate support, practical resources, and opportunities for lasting change.
